Alan designed a multi-faceted brand campaign that reignited circulation at a local newspaper. Alan featured the paper’s greatest asset—its award winning reporting staff— in ads, on billboards and buses, and on TV. As part of the rollout, he trained advertising sales reps and pre-press production artists. The circulation manager declared, ”For the first time in eleven years, circulation is up.”
Alan has numerous articles and three books to his credit, including: Backcountry Ski Camping, 50 Short Climbs in the Midwest and his latest, How to Create Your Own Marketing Plan.
When not serving clients, Alan enjoys the mountains of Colorado, from black diamond ski runs to fly fishing in mountain steams.
